This policy explains what information the mobile game Punch Arena (the “game”) collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Punch Arena is made by TapX Studio (“we”, “us”). If anything here is unclear, write to us at support@tapxstudio.com.
The short version
- You don’t need an account to play. Your progress and settings are saved only on your device.
- We don’t run our own servers for the game and the game contains no analytics or tracking tools of our own.
- Optional rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob. In-app purchases are paid through the App Store or Google Play and recorded by RevenueCat. These partners receive some device information to do their job.
- In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland you decide whether ads may be personalised. On iPhone you decide whether the game may track you. You can change both at any time.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
Who is responsible
TapX Studio is responsible (the “controller”) for the personal information described in this policy, except where a partner below acts as an independent controller of the information it collects. You can reach us at support@tapxstudio.com.
Information the game collects
Stored only on your device
Your progress, items, unlocked purchases, settings (such as sound, language, graphics and reminders), your acceptance of our terms and your ad consent status are saved on your device. We never receive this information. Depending on your phone’s settings, it can be included in your iCloud or Google device backup.
Advertising: Google AdMob
The game offers optional rewarded videos: you choose to watch an ad to get a reward. To load and show these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects:
- your device’s advertising identifier (on iPhone, the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android, the Android advertising ID) and other device identifiers,
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information such as device model, operating system, language and app version,
- information about the ads you see and interact with, and diagnostic data about ad loading,
- your consent choices.
Google uses this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance, prevent fraud and, only where you allow it, personalise them. Google acts as an independent controller of this information. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Players who buy Premium get rewards without watching ads.
Purchases: App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your name, payment card or billing address. To deliver and restore purchases, the game uses RevenueCat, which receives:
- a random anonymous ID created by the game,
- the products you bought, transaction IDs, purchase dates, price and currency,
- your store country, device type, operating system, app version and IP address.
This purchase history is linked only to the anonymous ID, not to your name or email address. RevenueCat processes it on our behalf. Read RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy, Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Time check
So that timers can’t be skipped by changing the phone’s clock, the game reads the current time from public servers of Google, Apple or Cloudflare. These requests contain no game information. Like any internet request, they reveal your IP address to the server.
Notifications
Energy reminders are local notifications that the game schedules on your device. No push token is created and nothing is sent to us. You can turn reminders off in the game’s Settings or in your phone’s notification settings.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as your device model, screenshots or a store order number. We use it only to answer you.
What we don’t collect
No account, name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera access, and no analytics or attribution tools.
How we use information
| Purpose | Information | Legal basis (EEA, UK, Switzerland) |
|---|---|---|
| Showing optional rewarded ads and giving the reward | Advertising data | Your consent where the law requires it; otherwise our legitimate interest in offering the game for free |
| Personalised ads | Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data | Your consent |
| Delivering and restoring purchases | Purchase data | Performing our contract with you |
| Preventing cheating and fraud | Time check requests, purchase data | Our legitimate interest in a fair game |
| Answering support requests | Your email and message | Our legitimate interest, or performing our contract with you |
| Keeping records the law requires | Purchase records | Legal obligation |
Who we share information with
We share information only with the partners named in this policy (Google, Apple, RevenueCat and the time-check servers of Google, Apple and Cloudflare), with authorities when the law requires it, and with a successor if TapX Studio or the game is transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We don’t sell personal information for money. Under some US state laws, such as California’s, letting an ad network use advertising identifiers for personalised ads may count as “sharing” or “selling”. You can opt out at any time by turning off ad personalisation as described below.
Your choices
- Ad personalisation in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: open the game’s Settings and tap Privacy options.
- Tracking on iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, then turn off Punch Arena.
- Advertising ID on Android: Settings → Google → Ads (on some phones Settings → Privacy → Ads), then delete or reset your advertising ID.
- Your Google ad settings: My Ad Center.
- Reminders: the game’s Settings → Energy reminders, or your phone’s notification settings.
- Stop all collection: uninstall the game.
How long we keep information
- Information on your device stays until you delete the game, or the backup that contains it.
- Advertising data is kept by Google as described in Google’s retention policy.
- Purchase records stay with RevenueCat for as long as we need them to provide and restore your purchases and to meet legal obligations. We delete them earlier on request where the law allows.
- Support emails are kept for up to 24 months after your request is resolved.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, KVKK in Türkiye, LGPD in Brazil, or the privacy laws of California and other US states), you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it,
- correct it or have it deleted,
- restrict or object to its use,
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier use,
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To use your rights, email support@tapxstudio.com. Because the game has no accounts, include the store order number of a purchase if your request is about purchase records. We reply within 30 days. For advertising data held by Google, use the tools above or contact Google. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To delete your data, see Data Deletion.
Children
Punch Arena is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or under the age of digital consent in their country (up to 16 in parts of the EEA). If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Google and RevenueCat may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Security
We keep the information we handle to a minimum. Our partners receive it over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the game or on this page before it takes effect.
